Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and drink selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and food offerings to provide expert recommendations and pairings Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation protocols during serving, bussing tables, and food handling Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and assist with basic food preparation when needed Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, TouchBistro, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting in the kitchen if required Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper beverage handling techniques Previous experience with wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and drink service is highly desirable Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and upselling menu items confidently Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
