Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them in seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties and process payments using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy service hours to maintain smooth operations Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable; experience with food industry software is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to engage guests effectively Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items and managing sales goals confidently Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous but not required Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills seamlessly Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or serving experience is preferred; hospitality background highly valued Join us to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a vibrant environment where your enthusiasm makes all the difference!
