Event Server Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and personable Event Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during various events, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in catering, banquet service, and hospitality environments. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and customer service are essential. As an Event Server, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service, supporting event operations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests during events such as banquets, receptions, and other gatherings Set up and break down event spaces according to specifications, including bussing tables and ensuring cleanliness Assist with catering duties, including food presentation and replenishment as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless event execution and excellent guest experience Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the event Support hospitality efforts by creating a friendly and welcoming environment for all attendees Skills Previous catering and banquet experience preferred Strong background in food service and hospitality environments Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to work well within a team in fast-paced settings Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests Flexibility to adapt to different event types and schedules Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bussing tables, and assisting with setup or breakdown tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Join our team as an Event Server if you enjoy working in dynamic environments where teamwork, hospitality, and excellent service are valued.
