Job Summary for Bearrr Appetit Server(s) We are seeking enthusiastic Servers to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and other team members to create a seamless and enjoyable atmosphere. We're located in Stanardsville, VA nestled in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains in the bottom level of Lydia Mountains Lodge. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Take food and drink orders accurately using our Square POS systems, ensuring all details are captured. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, following cash handling procedures. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to ensure satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, enabling efficient order processing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding customer service. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by business needs.
