Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative offerings in a dynamic environment. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated lead server to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will provide make sure all team is following the business protocol for outstanding guest service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Additional duties include team scheduling and assistance with events along with day to day operations with the owner. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, great communication skills when working with our team, food handling knowledge, and experience with POS systems, Word and Excel. Must be able to work Wednesday - Sunday from 9:00am - 5:00pm and some weekend evening shifts as well. Hourly pay + tips Food worker card/Handler permit required before start date Please provide 2 professional references with your resume Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square and Clover. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices. Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction. Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring a welcoming environment. Assist with scheduling team hours and work along with the owner on upcoming day and evening events. Experience Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square and Clover is highly desirable. Experience with WIX and TOCK reservations management is a plus. Skilled with Word and Excel formats Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and sanitation practices is essential. Previous lead or management job is helpful Demonstrated ability in upselling, guest services, and managing multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills combined with excellent time management abilities are necessary for success in this role.
