If you answered YES then Western State Hospital (WSH) may be the place for you! With a 172-year history in the Hopkinsville community WSH is a State acute care, adult psychiatric facility, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. WSH provides in-patient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adults from 34 counties of Western Kentucky who have severe mental illness. Every employee is part of our caring and competent team committed to excellent in behavioral healthcare for our patients and we have an opening for a Property Officer II to join our team.
A COVID19
vaccination is recommended for this position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Store, distribute, and synchronize clothing supplies. Maintain clothing supply inventory. Organize incoming clothing; includes unpacking, inspecting the condition, tallying items to requisition receipt, and sorting by size. Receive, fill, and deliver departmental orders for clothing. Reconciles assigned procurement card purchases to statements and completes all necessary reporting requirements in bank website. Complete year-end inventory and submit electronic report. Provide tailoring, alteration, and custom sewing as needed. Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate would have:
Technical sewing capabilities. Strong interpersonal soft skills. Ability to lift heavy objects. The Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the
