Tuesdays & Thursdays Our global commercial state specialty pharmaceutical client is seeking a Director, People & Culture.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role is responsible for leading the People and Culture function. This includes oversight of all employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation, benefits and financial planning of People and Culture activities including budget management.
Job Requirements:
Business Partnering:
Lead all People and Culture activities for the Group. Provide strategic advice to the SET and people managers as it relates to organizational design, culture, and other people topics.
Vendor Management:
Manage the relationships with their US PEO, background check vendor, applicable P&C consultants, and Newton based office building.

Oversee employee benefits programs in US and UK ensuring maximum value for investment. Review and recommend improvements annually.
Employment Law:
Maintain up to date knowledge of UK and US employment law and regulations to ensure corporate compliance in our policies and general company actions
Compensation:
Responsible for management of group compensation, ensuring any approach is applied fairly and is accurately benchmarked within the industry.
Talent Acquisition:
Ensure effective headcount/resource planning. Create a positive experience for all stakeholders, including resume screening, interview scheduling, offer alignment, background checks, and offer letter/contract generation (where applicable). On•
Off-Boarding:
Implement and manage onboarding/offboarding internal processes for all employees, ensuring that relevant stakeholders are notified in a timely fashion.
Performance Management:
Implement and manage the annual performance review process, including timelines, template development, and communication for all employees and managers. Partner with managers if performance improvement is needed to ensure a fair and consistent approach.
Employee Relations:
Ensure employee relations matters are handled fairly and consistently.
Time Off and Absence Management:
Responsible for oversight and management of all time off and absence management policies including annual leave, sick, FMLA, STD, LTD, and parental leave, among others.
Administration:
Maintain and control administrative systems (TriNet, PeopleHR, ____Connect, personnel files), with an eye for accuracy.
Payroll:
Responsible for making updates to US payroll. Advise Finance team of changes to UK payroll as needed.
Project Management:
Lead all People and Culture projects, with an eye for process improvement and simplification.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources with experience working in Commercial Stage pharmaceutical industry PHR or SHRM-CP preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to manage rapidly changing business conditions Strong team player, able to deliver Has a personable approach that can work across multiple functions and levels of the organization May require up to 10% travel
Compensation:
$190-210k plus 25% bonus plus LTI Onsite requirement: 3 days/week onsite
Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
Only 2 days/week onsite during the summer
