We're looking for an experienced Benefits & Leave Administrator who enjoys helping employees navigate their benefits, leave programs, and important life events with confidence and compassion. Competitive salary of $70,720-$74,000 annually Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous PTO and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Lifestyle Spending Account to support your wellness Collaborative, supportive People Operations team Employee appreciation events and recognition programs Meaningful work with an organization that has been serving San Diego County for more than 50 years What You'll Do Lead and coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process Manage employee benefit enrollments, changes, and qualifying life events Administer leave programs including FMLA, CFRA, disability, and other protected leaves Serve as the go-to resource for employee benefit and leave questions Partner with vendors, payroll, finance, and People Operations to ensure accurate administration Maintain compliance with federal and California employment laws Analyze benefit trends and help improve employee engagement with our benefit programs Create educational materials and present benefits information during new hire orientation and employee meetings What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) At least 5 years of experience administering employee benefits and leave programs Strong knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and related regulations Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Make an Impact This is more than a benefits role.
