With a professional team of 1000+ employees, Prime Controls serves customers nationwide from our Dallas, Texas headquarters and offices throughout the United States. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality professional services while prioritizing our employees' well-being and fostering an exceptional workplace environment. Overview Position Summary The Compensation Analyst leads market pricing, pay structure, and job architecture for Prime Controls 1,500-person workforce, including our field and technical employees across Texas, Arizona, and other project locations. This role takes primary ownership of compensation benchmarking work currently supported by outside consultants, and operates within Prime Controls' existing systems and tools rather than introducing new compensation platforms. Builds and maintains salary ranges and pay bands aligned to existing job families, factoring in market movement, geographic pay differentials (e.g., the Phoenix, AZ field labor market vs. Lewisville, TX headquarters), and internal equity.

Maintains and evolves Prime Controls' job title and job family taxonomy; partners with HR and department leaders on leveling, title changes, and role classification as the organization scales.

Produces compensation analyses - pay equity reviews, offer benchmarking, promotion and increase recommendations, and executive-ready reports - using Excel and Prime Controls' existing HR data.

Supports administration of compensation-related policies, including professional license and certification incentive programs and incentive pay structures.

Serves as the primary resource for managers on pay decisions, including new hire offers, promotions, and market adjustments.

Partners with HR and IT to maintain accurate compensation data within Prime Controls' existing HCM system, without introducing new compensation software, tools, or platforms.

Prepares clear, concise compensation materials and recommendations for review by HR leadership and executives.

Monitors compensation trends and regulatory developments (e.g., pay transparency, minimum wage, overtime rules) relevant to Prime Controls' multi-state footprint. Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or total rewards.

Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and complex formulas; comfort building executive-ready workbooks.

Experience with compensation survey tools (e.g., ERI, Mercer, Radford, or similar) and market pricing methodology.

Experience building or maintaining job architecture, leveling, or job family frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage compensation projects end-to-end without reliance on outside consultants.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for non-HR audiences (operations leaders, executives). Preferred Experience in a multi-site or field-heavy industry (construction, industrial services, engineering, or manufacturing).
