Job Description

The Miranda Group, a dynamic family-owned enterprise on the beautiful island of Kauai, is seeking a dedicated Administration Coordinator to support our operations in Anahola. What You'll Do:
Manage daily administrative tasks, including data entry, file organization, and tracking project statuses to ensure seamless workflows. Handle payroll processing, HR support, and employee onboarding to keep our team empowered and compliant. Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external communications, managing emails, phone calls with professional etiquette, and customer inquiries. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for reporting, scheduling, and creating polished documents. Collaborate with departments to maintain accurate records, support recruitment efforts, and resolve issues efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Experience:
2+ years in administrative, HR, or payroll roles, with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Office, data entry, email management, and tracking systems.
Key Skills:
Strong organizational abilities, impeccable phone etiquette, and a customer service mindset that turns every interaction into a positive experience.
HR & Payroll Knowledge:
Familiarity with basic HR processes, payroll software, and compliance best practices.
Personal Qualities:
Reliable, proactive, and adaptable; a team player who values discretion and efficiency.
Education:
High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Local Advantage:
Must be authorized to work in the US and able to commute to Anahola, Kauai.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day); occasional lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds; manual dexterity for computer use and filing; and the ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels. Why The Miranda Group?
