Duration:
Position is for about 8 weeks This position is responsible for: Performs a variety of human resources administrative work supporting Human Resources processes, including maintaining files, photocopying, and scanning records; filing documents, including correspondence, forms, lists, logs, etc., necessary for efficient operations of the department; answering the telephone and providing general information regarding the department operations and/or services; and conducting background checks specific to calling references; and supporting the director as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures accurate data is entered in the human resources information system (Paycom) and makes appropriate adjustments as required regarding employment data. Review, submit, and process all employee information submitted in TSAMM to ensure appropriate documents and accurate data; notify the Human Resources Representative of any conflicts or inaccuracies and report them to the manager. Assist with processing Kettle worker new hire procedure in TSAMM.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull light (less than 25 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment.
Light mobility:
duties are usually performed by a combination of standing, walking, and primarily sitting. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
High school diploma or G.E.D. is required, supplemented by additional training and educational background in office administration AND Three years of related experience, preferably in a Human Resources office OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
