This position supports benefits, onboarding, compliance, scheduling, employee records, and other day-to-day HR functions while also assisting with general school operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site role requiring professionalism, confidentiality, flexibility, and comfort working around students. Must be willing to wear multiple \"hats\" and flexible to assist where needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide front-office support by greeting visitors, answering and directing calls, returning messages, responding to inquiries, and assisting with general office needs. Support HR functions including benefits enrollment and monitoring, onboarding, ACA reporting, background/MVR checks, leave tracking, and employee documentation. Coordinate substitute teacher scheduling, interview appointments, administrative calendars, and recruiting logistics. Support HR functions including benefits enrollment and monitoring, onboarding, ACA reporting, background/MVR checks, leave tracking, and employee documentation. Maintain files, process mail, prepare forms and meeting materials, draft and proofread correspondence, and support routine reporting and data collection. Assist with payroll reporting, staff meetings, workshops, school events, safety materials, and other school-wide operational needs as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or higher required. Minimum of 1 year HR administrative experience ; school-system HR or administrative experience is preferred, but candidates with transferable HR experience from other industries will be considered. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools , including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Forms. Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and confidentiality skills with the ability to work independently. Adaptable and dependable with the ability to work professionally around children and assist with changing school and office priorities.
