Endless Mountains Veterinary Center (EMVC) is looking for a Human Resources Assistant I to join our team and help create an environment where people love what they do, love who they work with, and love who they work for. The Human Resources Assistant I will provide administrative and employee-support functions while helping our HR team create a positive and engaging employee experience. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant I to support our HR department in delivering efficient and compliant human capital management services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee orientation, and benefits administration, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in HR systems, regulatory compliance, and workforce management while contributing to strategic HR initiatives.
Responsibilities may include:
Assist with day-to-day HR administrative functions and employee inquiries Support onboarding and orientation for new team members Maintain accurate and confidential employee records Assist with recruiting, interview scheduling, and employment paperwork Help coordinate employee communications, engagement activities, and recognition programs Support training and professional development initiatives Assist with benefits administration and other employee programs Help maintain HR policies, procedures, and resources including HRIS applications Track and organize employee information and HR documentation Provide a welcoming, helpful, and professional point of contact for employees Support HR initiatives designed to strengthen our culture and promote employee success Assist with other HR projects and responsibilities as needed The ideal candidate: Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is highly organized and attentive to detail Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information Is comfortable working with employees at all levels of an organization Enjoys building positive relationships and supporting others Can manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Is willing to learn and grow within the HR field Has a positive, solutions-oriented approach Demonstrates good judgment and understands the importance of confidentiality Shares our belief that employees are one of our organization's most important assets Previous HR experience or education is highly preferred with strong administrative, customer service, or people-support experience. EMVC is EEOC.

From $18.00 per hour
