Role:
CenClear is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources department in delivering exceptional service to our employees. As our Human Resources Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting employees throughout their employment journey. You'll help create a positive employee experience while supporting the mission of an organization that makes a difference every day. What You'll Do:
Work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee transactions, benefits administration, and offboarding. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records while ensuring compliance with agency policies and applicable federal and state regulations. Assist with HR compliance activities, including employee clearances, unemployment claims, Affirmative Action reporting, compensation analysis, and government reporting. Support employee and labor relations by assisting with policy administration, performance management, and collective bargaining activities as needed. Prepare reports, maintain HR documentation, and provide administrative support to leadership and the Human Resources department. Stay current on HR best practices, employment laws, and agency programs while contributing to special projects and other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
SHRM Certification with three (3) years of HR experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field with one (1) year of HR experience. Strong communication, customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS experience is preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel. Commitment to professional growth and compliance with HR best practices and employment laws. Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire:
PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate Perks You'll Love:
