Full-Time / Ready Reserve (Flex Officer) Position Overview We are seeking professional, dependable, and highly adaptable Ready Reserve Security Officers to support security operations at a critical infrastructure facility in Red Oak, TX. This position functions similarly to a Flex Officer role and is designed for officers who can provide coverage across multiple schedules, shifts, and security assignments as operational needs arise. Officers must be comfortable working days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime with little notice. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, customer-focused, and capable of operating in a professional corporate environment while maintaining a strong security presence. Key Responsibilities Provide security coverage for open posts, vacations, call-offs, special assignments, and emergency staffing needs. Conduct interior and exterior patrols of assigned facilities and property. Monitor access control systems, visitor management systems, and security equipment. Verify identification and credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors. Respond to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and unusual events. Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and operational documentation. Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity. Enforce site policies, procedures, and security protocols. Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors. Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures when necessary. Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, emergency services, and other security personnel. Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older . Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain and maintain any required security licenses and certifications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency required. Ability to write clear and accurate reports. Professional appearance and demeanor. Preferred Qualifications Prior security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or emergency services experience. Experience with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, or security technology. Experience working in corporate, industrial, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments. Customer service experience in a professional setting. Availability Requirements This is a Ready Reserve/Flex Officer position. Applicants must have open availability and be willing to work: Day shifts Evening shifts Overnight shifts Weekends Holidays Overtime as needed Officers must be flexible and able to accept assignments based on operational requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to conduct interior and exterior patrols in various weather conditions. Ability to climb stairs and navigate large facilities. Ability to respond quickly during emergency situations. Ability to lift, carry, and move objects when required.
