Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are a rapidly growing company looking for our first dedicated Human Resources Manager to build, scale, and lead our HR infrastructure from the ground up. If you are an HR professional who thrives on turning ambiguity into order, creating compliant processes, and establishing a modern workplace foundation, this "department of one" role is for you. You will have a direct hand in shaping our company culture and operational structure as we scale. 2. Responsibilities (The Building Phase)

Infrastructure Development:

Architect, implement, and document core HR processes, including standardized onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, and employee tracking systems

Handbook & Policy Creation:

Author and launch our first comprehensive, California-compliant Employee Handbook and establish clear company-wide workplace policies.

Compliance Audit:

Audit our current practices to establish a bulletproof compliance framework for California wage-and-hour laws, meal breaks, and documentation.

System Implementation:

Evaluate, select, and deploy an automated HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or payroll platform to eliminate manual paperwork. 3. Qualifications (The "Builder" Persona) Look for soft skills and experience levels that prove they can handle chaos and build order. The "Builder"
