Senior Director of Human Resources Fortis Health - 3.8 Carmel, IN Job Details 9 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Fortis Health is seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy and operations across our home health and hospice organizations in Indiana and Utah. Job Summary The Senior Director of Human Resources will partner with executive, operational, and clinical leadership to develop and implement scalable HR strategies that support employee engagement, compliance, talent, growth, and operational excellence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise HR strategy across Indiana and Utah. Serve as a strategic HR partner to executive and operational leadership. Oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, and retention. Lead HR compliance, investigations, audits, and risk management. Develop compensation, benefits, and incentive strategies in partnership with Finance. Oversee HR systems, including Paycom, and support HR technology improvements. Lead leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. Monitor recruiting, retention, and other HR metrics to support data-driven decisions. Lead and develop HR and recruiting team members. Manage HR vendors, budgets, and key HR initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities may evolve based on organizational and regulatory needs. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. 5-10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience. Multi-site or multi-state healthcare experience strongly preferred. Home health or hospice experience preferred. Strong knowledge of employment law and healthcare HR compliance. Experience with HR technology and HRIS platforms, including Paycom preferred. Experience with workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational change. Strong business, financial, analytical, and communication skills. SHRM-SCP or SPHR strongly preferred. SHRM-CP or PHR accepted with a plan to obtain senior-level certification.
