Part-Time Human Resources Manager The Grove Rehab Facility Location:
Peru, Indiana Schedule:
M-F - Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Pay Range:
$25 - $30hr About The Grove The Grove Estate is a private retreat in Indiana offering medical detox, residential rehab, and a specialized program for professionals. Our discreet, individualized approach provides a safe space to step away from city life and focus fully on recovery. Position Summary The Part-Time Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions for The Grove Rehab Facility. This position partners with facility leadership to recruit, retain, and support a high-performing workforce while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as healthcare industry regulations. The HR Manager serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, fostering a positive workplace culture focused on quality resident care, teamwork, and employee engagement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage all aspects of employee recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Coordinate new employee orientation and ensure completion of required employment documentation. Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Administer employee benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications. Process employee status changes and coordinate with payroll. Advise supervisors on employee relations, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolution. Assist department managers with performance evaluations and employee development. Coordinate employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives. Manage workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, and return-to-work processes. Monitor employee licensure, certifications, and required training to ensure regulatory compliance. Support survey readiness by maintaining HR documentation required by state and federal agencies. Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive organizational matters. Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed. Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics for facility leadership. Participate in leadership meetings and provide guidance on workforce planning and staffing. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience. Previous HR experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care strongly preferred. Experience with employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and benefits administration.
