As the Human Resources Director at Wolverine Human Services, you will be a key member of a team dedicated to helping children and families achieve positive, transformative outcomes. You will ensure our workforce is aligned with our mission of supporting children and families, regardless of their circumstances. You will oversee all aspects of human resources management with a focus on fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment that aligns with our mission-driven goals. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree would be a plus. Proven experience as an HR Director or HR Manager at a large complex organization or similar role, ideally within a juvenile justice or human services environment. Strong knowledge of HR functions including compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development. Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that support a mission-driven organization. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization. Understanding of legal regulations and compliance requirements related to HR practices in juvenile justice and/or human services settings. This position is NOT remote. A daily onsite presence at the various locations is expected.
