We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead the organization's overall human resources strategy and oversee the delivery of HR services across the business. This position will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, retention, compensation, compliance, and culture. The HR Director will also have responsibility for HR governance, regulatory compliance, vendor and budget management, HR technology, analytics, and the development of the HR team. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the HR strategy and annual HR roadmap, aligning HR priorities with overall organizational goals. Oversee HR service delivery across Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner functions, HR Operations/HRIS, Benefits & Wellness, and Learning & Organizational Development. Establish and monitor HR service-level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour, leave administration, and workplace privacy requirements. Oversee HR policies and practices and partner with external legal counsel when appropriate. Manage relationships with HR vendors, including payroll, benefits, learning, background screening, and HR technology providers. Oversee vendor contracts, renewals, service levels, performance, and cost management. Lead workforce planning and organizational design initiatives in partnership with executive leadership. Provide executive-level workforce analytics, reporting, and recommendations to support business decisions. Lead complex and high-risk employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary processes while ensuring fair, consistent, and well-documented outcomes. Develop and oversee employee engagement, culture, and employer branding initiatives. Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Organizational Development on engagement surveys, action planning, retention, and organizational development. Oversee compensation strategy, salary structures, market benchmarking, pay administration, and internal equity. Manage the HR budget and align HR investments with organizational priorities and business outcomes. Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, records retention practices, internal controls, and audit readiness. Lead responses to internal and external HR-related audits and oversee corrective actions. Guide the HR technology and analytics roadmap, including HRIS governance, data integrity, security/access controls, integrations, and reporting. Lead, coach, and develop the HR leadership team and staff. Oversee succession planning and capability development within the HR function. Collaborate with cross-functional leadership on organizational, safety, quality, compliance, and other business initiatives. Build strong relationships across departments and promote a collaborative, service-oriented HR culture. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or comparable HR certification preferred. 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3-5 years in a senior HR leadership or management role. Experience working in healthcare, long-term care, or another highly regulated environment preferred. Demonstrated experience overseeing HR service delivery, employment compliance, compensation, HR vendors, budgets, and HR analytics. Strong knowledge of applicable employment, labor, wage and hour, leave, and workplace privacy laws and regulations. Experience working with HRIS, ATS, time and attendance, payroll, and reporting/BI systems. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
