DOE Position Summary TOYO Solar Texas LLC is seeking an experienced and highly professional Senior Human Resources Supervisor to support the Human Resources Manager in overseeing day-to-day HR operations at our solar module manufacturing facility in Humble, Texas. This position will serve as a senior HR resource for employees and management, with primary responsibility for employee relations, workplace investigations, corrective action support, onboarding and offboarding, benefits and 401(k) administration, employee orientation, HR compliance, and coordination with legal counsel. The Senior HR Supervisor will work closely with the HR Manager and company leadership to ensure employee matters are handled consistently, professionally, confidentially, and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment requirements. This is a hands-on HR position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable addressing sensitive employee matters, conducting investigations, supporting managers, administering HR programs, and assisting with a broad range of HR responsibilities as business needs evolve. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Management Support Serve as a senior HR point of contact for employees, supervisors, and managers regarding workplace concerns, HR policies, employee relations matters, and general HR questions. Provide guidance to supervisors and managers regarding employee relations issues, attendance, workplace conduct, performance concerns, and application of company policies. Assist the HR Manager with employee coaching, corrective actions, disciplinary documentation, performance improvement plans, and other employee relations matters. Help ensure HR policies and workplace standards are applied consistently across departments and shifts. Identify employee relations trends and escalate significant or high-risk matters to the HR Manager. Maintain professionalism, neutrality, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters. Workplace Investigations Conduct and support prompt, thorough, and impartial workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace conflicts, attendance issues, and other employee relations concerns. Interview employees, supervisors, witnesses, and other relevant individuals as part of workplace investigations. Review documentation, statements, records, video or other available information relevant to investigations. Prepare clear investigation notes, findings, summaries, and supporting documentation. Coordinate investigation findings and recommended next steps with the HR Manager. Maintain confidential and organized investigation files. Escalate matters involving significant legal, compliance, safety, or employee-relations risk. Legal & HR Compliance Coordination Assist the HR Manager in coordinating employment-related matters with internal or external legal counsel. Gather and organize documentation requested by legal counsel for employee relations matters, investigations, claims, agency inquiries, or other employment matters. Support compliance with applicable federal and Texas employment requirements. Assist with I-9, E-Verify, personnel-file, recordkeeping, and other HR compliance activities. Help ensure employee documentation is complete, accurate, confidential, and properly maintained. Support HR policy development, implementation, communication, and enforcement. Assist with internal HR audits and corrective actions when necessary. Benefits & 401(k) Administration Assist with the day-to-day administration and management of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other company-sponsored benefits. Support administration of the company's 401(k) retirement plan, including employee questions, eligibility, enrollment coordination, and communication with the plan provider. Serve as an HR contact for employee benefit and 401(k) questions and assist employees in understanding available resources. Coordinate with benefits brokers, insurance carriers, retirement plan providers, payroll, and other vendors as needed. Support annual benefits open enrollment and employee benefits education. Assist with new-hire benefit enrollment and qualifying life event changes. Review benefits-related employee information for accuracy and assist with resolving enrollment or deduction discrepancies. Support benefits reporting, documentation, audits, and required notices. Onboarding, Orientation & New Hire Support Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new employees. Conduct or assist with new-hire orientation, including company policies, benefits, attendance expectations, workplace conduct, HR procedures, and other required information. Ensure required onboarding documents are completed accurately and timely. Coordinate with hiring managers, Payroll, IT, Safety, and other departments to help ensure employees are prepared for their first day. Ensure Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements are completed appropriately. Monitor onboarding completion and follow up on missing documents or required actions. Assist new employees with HR, benefits, payroll, and policy-related questions during the onboarding process . Offboarding & Employee Separations Coordinate employee offboarding for resignations, terminations, layoffs, and other separations. Prepare and maintain required separation documentation. Coordinate final HR requirements with Payroll, IT, supervisors, and other applicable departments. Conduct exit interviews when appropriate and document relevant feedback. Ensure company property return and system-access termination are appropriately coordinated. Maintain accurate separation records and update HR systems as required. Assist the HR Manager with termination meetings and other sensitive separation matters. HR Operations & Administration Assist the HR Manager with the daily operation of the Human Resources Department. Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files, HR records, investigation records, and employee documentation. Assist with

transactions and employee data maintenance as assigned. Prepare HR reports, employee documentation, correspondence, and management reports. Assist with attendance, leave, employee status changes, compensation changes, and other HR transactions. Support recruiting and hiring activities when needed, including interviews, candidate coordination, offers, and pre-employment processes. Assist with employee communications and company HR initiatives. Support employee engagement, training, performance management, and employee-development initiatives. Assist with HR projects, policy updates, audits, benefits initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Provide coverage and support for other HR functions as business needs require. Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager. Supervisory & Leadership Responsibilities Provide day-to-day guidance and support to HR team members as assigned by the Human Resources Manager. Assist with prioritizing HR activities and ensuring employee matters are addressed timely. Serve as an escalation resource for routine HR questions and employee concerns. Support the HR Manager in developing consistent HR processes and maintaining high standards for documentation, confidentiality, responsiveness, and employee service. This position does not independently make final decisions regarding termination, significant disciplinary action, compensation, or other high-risk employment matters unless specifically authorized by the Human Resources Manager. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience with employee relations and HR operations. Experience independently conducting or substantially supporting workplace investigations. Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters and corrective-action processes. Working knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Experience administering employee benefits and working with benefit providers or brokers. Experience supporting or administering a 401(k) or other employer-sponsored retirement plan. Experience with employee onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and personnel documentation. Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems; ADP experience preferred. Strong written documentation and investigation skills. Strong judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with production employees, supervisors, managers, executives, vendors, and legal counsel. Ability to manage multiple sensitive matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications & Skills HR experience within a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or high-volume workforce environment strongly preferred. Experience supporting a 24/7 or multi-shift manufacturing operation. Experience working directly with employment counsel on employee relations and compliance matters. Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll systems. Experience administering medical benefits, retirement plans, open enrollment, and employee benefit communications. Experience developing or improving HR policies, procedures, forms, and internal processes. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to work primarily in an office environment while regularly interacting with employees throughout a manufacturing facility. Ability to walk through production, warehouse, and other operational areas as necessary to support employees and management. Must comply with required PPE and safety requirements when entering designated manufacturing areas. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods. Ability to respond to time-sensitive employee relations matters and changing operational priorities. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support employees working different shifts or to address urgent HR matters.
