FULL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish HR Coordinator to support payroll, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day Human Resources operations. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working with employees, managing multiple priorities, and gaining broad exposure across the HR function. The ideal candidate will bring strong ADP payroll experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support employees across multiple Southern California locations. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Processing and reviewing bi-weekly payroll through ADP for hourly and salaried employees Entering, reviewing, and verifying payroll data for accuracy Supporting payroll-related recordkeeping and resolving routine payroll discrepancies Supporting recruiting activities and candidate communication Coordinating interview scheduling Supporting background checks and pre-employment activities Coordinating new-hire onboarding and orientation Preparing and maintaining new-hire documentation Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records Responding to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general HR matters Supporting employee relations activities as needed Assisting with employee engagement initiatives Supporting HR compliance activities and documentation Assisting with HR projects and administrative initiatives Maintaining accurate HRIS and employee data Preparing HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as needed Communicating professionally with employees, candidates, managers, and leadership Supporting HR operations across multiple Southern California locations Traveling to company locations at least twice per week as required Maintaining confidentiality of employee and company information Performing other duties as assigned The selected candidate will also possess: 2 to 3 years of HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Generalist, or related Human Resources experience required Strong ADP payroll experience required Hands-on experience processing bi-weekly payroll required Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees preferred Bilingual English/Spanish required Recruiting and interview coordination experience preferred Onboarding and new-hire orientation experience preferred Employee records and HR documentation experience required Knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employee relations preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills required Excellent organizational and time-management skills required Exceptional attention to detail required Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Experience with HRIS or related Human Resources systems preferred Ability to communicate effectively with employees and candidates at all levels Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an HR team Ability to work onsite in Ontario, CA Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Ability and willingness to travel to multiple Southern California locations at least twice per week Ability to successfully complete a background check Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while processing payroll, maintaining employee records, reviewing HR documentation, and completing administrative tasks Ability to communicate by phone, email, video meeting, and in person throughout the workday Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, filing, document preparation, and standard office tasks Ability to review payroll reports, employee records, spreadsheets, HR documentation, and computer screens for extended periods Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout office and company locations as needed Ability to travel between Southern California company locations at least twice per week Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, documents, or supplies Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail while managing multiple HR priorities
