PABCO, Building Products is looking for a Senior HR Coordinator at our Admin (subsidiary-level) office in Rancho Cordova. This position provides centralized HR support to multiple locations across the subsidiary in areas including recruiting, compensation administration, compliance, training & development, and HR systems administration. This role serves as a key resource to locations and employees by coordinating HR programs, maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws, and supporting subsidiary-wide HR initiatives. This position reports to the Subsidiary HR Manager.
The Job:
Demonstrates the company values and supports management and the HR team to ensure behavior within the location/division is consistent with the company values.
Build collaborative relationships with the locations and with counterparts at other subsidiaries.
Support the administration and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
Supports HR system administration, including report generation, data audits, testing, SharePoint maintenance, LMS administration, and timekeeping support.
Assists with employee relations matters by responding to initial and basic employee inquiries.
Supports compensation administration, including maintaining job descriptions and salary ranges, and conducting compensation reviews and market research.
Coordinates recruiting activities including candidate screening, onboarding, background checks, and new hire orientation.
Ability to research thoroughly and assist with policy reviews and updates in compliance with employment law updates.
Supports with training administration, including entering records of employee training completed in the LMS system.
May assist in coordinating special events, including Annual Benefit Meetings, training events, Christmas events, company picnics, retirement parties, Adopt-A-Family, health screenings, etc.
Assists with the development and implementation of subsidiary-wide HR initiatives and projects.
May be requested to gather and analyze various HR-related data for process improvement and program success measurements.
May support wellness administration, including company-wide challenges, events, and research as needed.
All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned. •Bilingual in Spanish Preferred•
Compensation:
Wage:
$29.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience).
Successful Candidates Will Have:
Education/Experience:
College degree (GED); and
Three (3) or more years of related experience and/or training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHR/PHRca certification preferred
Communication Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, co-workers and vendors.
