HR Coordinator Position Overview The HR Associate provides day-to-day support across Human Resources and office administration, with a primary focus on employee onboarding, HR documentation, employee support, and maintaining an organized and welcoming office environment. This role works closely with the HR Director and broader HR team while coordinating with Payroll, Finance, Recruiting, IT, and Operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build broad HR experience while becoming a key resource for employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities Human Resources & Onboarding Coordinate the new hire onboarding process from offer acceptance through the employee's first day. Prepare and maintain new hire paperwork, employee records, and personnel files. Coordinate background checks, I-9 documentation, required forms, and other pre-employment requirements. Serve as a backup support to our payroll, tips and PTO functions for our clients. Partner with Payroll, IT, Recruiting, and hiring managers to ensure employees are fully prepared for their start date. Assist employees with general HR, benefits, PTO, policy, and onboarding questions, escalating matters when appropriate. Support benefits enrollment and employee status changes. Prepare standard HR documents, correspondence, employment verifications, and employee communications. Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and documentation. Assist with employee offboarding and related documentation. Support HR compliance initiatives, audits, required trainings, and policy acknowledgments. Provide administrative support to the HR Director and HR Manager as needed. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, company events, and other HR projects. Administrative & Office Support Serve as a welcoming point of contact for employees, candidates, visitors, and vendors. Assist with incoming calls, mail, packages, and general office correspondence. Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders as needed. Help coordinate meetings, conference rooms, lunches, and internal events. Provide general administrative support to leadership as needed. Help maintain an organized, professional, and efficient office environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred. 0-4 years of HR, administrative, office coordination, or related experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, approachable demeanor. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or applicant tracking systems is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary:
