This position assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance activities, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, maintains confidentiality, and demonstrates excellent customer service skills when supporting employees and management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding Assist with posting job openings on recruiting platforms and company websites. Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications. Conduct reference checks and background screening processes as directed. Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation. Facilitate new hire paperwork and orientation activities. Maintain onboarding checklists and ensure completion of required employment forms. Employee Records & HR Administration Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records. Process employee status changes, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions. Update and maintain HRIS records and employee databases. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Prepare employment verification letters and other HR-related correspondence. Benefits Administration Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications. Coordinate benefit-related documentation and reporting. Support annual open enrollment activities. Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers as needed. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist with maintaining I-9 documentation and employment eligibility records. Support HR audits and recordkeeping requirements. Prepare HR reports and metrics as requested by the Human Resources Manager. Employee Support Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers. Assist with employee engagement programs, events, and recognition initiatives. Support training and development activities, including scheduling and record maintenance. Help coordinate employee communications and HR-related announcements. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or human resources experience preferred. Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and HR best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Customer-focused approach with professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to move throughout the office to support departmental activities. Working Conditions Office environment with standard business hours. Occasional attendance at company events, meetings, or training sessions may be required. Success Measures Timely processing of HR transactions and employee documentation. Accurate maintenance of employee records and HR systems. Positive employee service experience and responsiveness. Compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies. Effective support of recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
