HR GENERALIST

Kentwood Brick & Tile, LLC 72199 US-51, Kentwood, LA 70444 Join Our Team! Kentwood Brick & Tile is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our manufacturing operations in Kentwood, Louisiana. This role is responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, personnel administration, employee relations, compliance with U.S. employment laws, and providing administrative support to the Finance department. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, bilingual, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Schedule Annual Salary:

$60,000 USD Full-Time Position Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Kentwood Brick & Tile, LLC observes the following paid holidays: New Year's, Day Thanksgiving and Day Christmas Day Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions. Coordinate interviews, candidate evaluations, employment offers, and hiring activities. Manage onboarding, orientation, employee documentation, and offboarding processes. Maintain accurate personnel records and HR documentation. Ensure compliance with federal and Louisiana employment laws and company policies. Serve as the primary liaison between the Kentwood operation and Corporate Human Resources. Prepare and monitor HR reports and workforce metrics, including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and recruiting KPIs. Respond to employee inquiries and support positive employee relations. Provide administrative support to the Finance department, including processing vendor invoices, reconciling receipts, recording customer deposits, and assisting with administrative financial processes. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Accounting, Industrial Relations, or a related field. 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience , preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with recruitment, employee relations, personnel administration, and HR compliance. Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred). Bilingual (English & Spanish) required. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
