(.50 per hour differential for bilingual English/Spanish skill). This is a non-exempt position. Responsibilities of this position include:
ADMINISTRATIVE
Coordinate and support recruitment processes, including reference checks and Job postings Onboard new hires including facilitating
Welcome Meetings:
Process new hires, rehires, reassignment, and transfers. Set up of time/swipe cards, assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks in the HRIS system Track benefit enrollments and costs; administer COBRA Reconcile monthly benefit vendor insurance invoices to ensure accuracy; provide cost and back up data Prepare and update the Leave of Absence tracking spreadsheet weekly; process PFML Work closely with Finance and Payroll to provide information and data Create and coordinate personnel files; maintain organized employee records
Benefits Administration:
Support and team on the annual Open Enrollment process Assist with employee benefit programs, including health insurance, life insurance, dental, and retirement programs. Serve as liaison to employees on leave and programs Provide Workers Compensation claim support and wage information Provide Wage and Employment Verification Letters Coordinate Unemployment related process and support
Performance Reviews:
Assist with the performance review process; track and manage inventory, file in personnel files, follow up to ensure completion.
REQUIRED
SKILLS:
Demonstrated commitment to social justice Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate data utilizing digital and manual filing systems Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications. Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, developing spreadsheets, updating spreadsheets, etc.
Minimum education:
 Associate degree; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree Minimum 2 years of experience using Human Resources Information System (HRIS) systems (Checkwriters experience a plus but not required) Strong written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal communication skills with an empathetic presence Creative problem-solving skills Flexibility to work independently and be self-motivated Non-profit experience preferred Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) a preferred skill
