Responsibilities:
This position provides support to the Human Resources Department, including administrative, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, conducting background investigations, entering information into HRIS and benefit systems, and keeping updated employment records. Will work collaboratively to best align HR practices with the evolving organization needs and team-oriented structure. Recruitment & Onboarding Collaborates with Managers and Supervisors to identify talent needs, job specifications, and skills. Creates requisitions through Lever and advertises open and approved positions. Review applications, screens applicants, review with hiring manager, contact candidates for pre-interview information and interview scheduling. Participates in interviews as needed. Source qualified candidates. Attend job fairs as needed. Extends employment offers Coordinates and facilitates biweekly onboarding. Schedules monthly New Hire Orientation. Resume tracking Conduct new hire orientation on as needed basis. Complete online background checks Conduct Reference Checks Administration Support employee lifecycle process (create new employee files, process terminations) Filing employee documentation Audit personnel files quarterly by updating Credentialing & Privileging form. Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS Benefits Administer benefits (enrollment, changes, terminations) Assist with open enrollment Retention & Engagement Works collaboratively with leadership, managers, and staff to sustain strong work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, enhance employee engagement, and staff retention. Assumes other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned. Assist with other Human Resources functions as needed. Requirements This is a full time position is available in Edgewater, MD and is located on site.
Education:
College education in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Experience:
Three to five years work experience in Human Resources or related field preferred. Experience working in Behavioral Health or with Lever a plus.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities, and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of employment laws. Ability to work independently, and can travel to job fairs.
