Human Resources Business Partner A multi-state human services organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support approximately 1,000 employees across 24 states. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who wants to take ownership, make a visible impact, and grow within an evolving HR organization.
Location:
Ellsworth, ME (hybrid)
Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Type:
Direct-Hire Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary HR resource and liaison for assigned employees and business leaders Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters Address routine employee relations concerns and escalate complex matters when appropriate Coordinate performance evaluations and employee engagement initiatives Maintain HR compliance documentation for regulatory audits and licensing visits Review and process new hires, transfers, suspensions, personnel changes, and terminations Audit employee data and weekly personnel changes for accuracy within the HRIS Manage workers' compensation incidents in partnership with the appropriate internal team Maintain employee rosters, job descriptions, and required acknowledgments Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to monitor and update open-position reports Facilitate affiliate-specific welcome meetings for new employees
Qualifications:
3+ years of direct Human Resources experience required Experience supporting employees across multiple states is required Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources preferred SHRM or HRCI certification preferred Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion Experience in human services, behavioral health, residential services, intellectual and developmental disability services, or another highly regulated environment is a plus Nonprofit HR experience is also preferred LA123
