Responsible for performing and supporting Human Resources related functions on a professional level. Works with management in supporting all departments.
Essential Duties and Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
Works with Management and Production to ensure desired staffing levels are maintained, through direct hire or utilization of staffing services.
Payroll processing; maintains payroll information oversees online payroll system.
Employee relations; responsible for implementing, overseeing and enforcement of employee-related policies, procedures, and disciplinary action process.
Oversees the Employee Handbook, Company Policies, various benefits, random drug screening, workmen's compensation, unemployment process.
Performance management with performance development evaluations and review processes.
Maintain and monitor attendance records, PTO (Person Time Off), ETSA, Leave of Absence, and other employee personal related requests.
Recordkeeping; Maintains employee and human resources records as appropriate, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Benefits administration.
Onboarding of new employees.
Responsible for visitor orientation and answering incoming business calls as needed.

Employee relations; assisting employees as needed, implementation of company policies and procedures, special assignments given by the company President or Vice President. Participating in/facilitates required training, as needed. Is a member of the Safety Team.
Basic knowledge of human resource practices, ability to accurately process payroll on a weekly and bi-weekly basis, knowledge of 401K and 401K loans, insurance benefits, including COBRA, Health, Prescription, Dental, Life, and Accidental Death and Disability.
Education and Training:
College degree; Human Resource Certificate or Bachelor of Business Administration preferred.
Computer (Microsoft office), Human Resources principles, OSHA/MIOSHA requirements, Local, State, Federal and benefit laws and regulations.
Experience:
Experience in a human resources position in a manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of the injection molding process.
Payroll processing and time keeping software, interpersonal skills, general math skills, reporting skills, organization, communication, speaking, writing, reading.
Basic understanding of Quality Management System, company quality policy and key quality objectives.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
