3340 Hospital Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603 At HealthSource Saginaw, we are seeking a dedicated Staffing Coordinator to join our Central Staffing department. In this important role, you will use your critical thinking, organization, and communication skills to help maintain appropriate staffing levels across our healthcare programs. From coordinating employee schedules to maintaining accurate payroll reports and records, you will play a key role in supporting the teams who provide exceptional care to the individuals and families we serve. What You'll Do:
The Staffing Coordinator will perform the full range of assignments including but not limited to: Make key decisions in determining daily staffing needs based on all information and resources available. Assign employees to respective areas based on employee cross-training abilities and departmental needs. Proactively select and communicate with appropriate employees to cover absences/vacancies/vacations. Manage short notice staffing changes. Review and process time off requests. Assemble, adjust, and verify accurate staffing schedule. Record and track time & attendance occurrences. Coordinate with Human Resources as needed for employee attendance, schedule changes, escalations, various work restrictions and more. Coordinate with Payroll to accurately reconcile payroll and associated incentive pay. Initiate staffing changes and communicate updates as needed. Establish and maintain all necessary staffing, timesheet, and payroll records. Provide training to employees on scheduling and payroll functions.
What We're Looking For:
REQUIRED
: A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Higher educational math skills.
PREFERRED
: Two (2) years related scheduling experience on a large scale
healthcare industry preferred.
