Job Description
Human Resources Intern Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources department. This position offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of HR functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, HR systems, recruiting support, payroll, employee communications, and general administrative operations. Because we are a growing organization, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn HR from a 360-degree perspective rather than being limited to a single specialty area. The HR Intern will work closely with the HR Manager and gain practical experience supporting day-to-day HR operations while contributing to meaningful projects. Key Responsibilities Support employee file maintenance and HR recordkeeping Help manage HR communications and employee inquiries Assist with benefits administration and enrollment activities Support payroll and HRIS-related processes Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and organizational data Conduct research and gather information to support HR initiatives Provide general administrative support to the HR department Participate in special projects as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative Resourceful problem solver who is comfortable researching answers and working independently before escalating questions Strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Comfortable learning and utilizing AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency Professional, personable, and eager to learn Comfortable working in an office environment and using general office equipment Preferred Qualities The ideal candidate is naturally curious, dependable, and willing to roll up their sleeves. They enjoy learning, can work with minimal supervision, pay attention to details, and take pride in producing accurate work. They are comfortable asking questions when needed but are equally comfortable taking the initiative to research information and find solutions independently.
