Human Resources Specialist (Payroll & Compensation)

Hybrid - Full-Time 12 Month + Contract About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support payroll, compensation, and HR operations within a fast-paced corporate environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate employee pay, maintaining HR records, supporting compliance initiatives, and advising managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
Important:
Candidates must have hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView . Due to business needs, there is no opportunity for system training, and individuals must be able to contribute immediately. Key Responsibilities Serve as a resource to managers and employees regarding HR policies, compensation programs, benefits, and employment regulations. Support payroll-related processes to ensure accurate and timely employee payments. Advise on state and federal employment regulations and company personnel policies. Evaluate and classify job positions, including exempt/non-exempt status and compensation recommendations. Prepare and maintain job descriptions, salary structures, and compensation-related documentation. Assist with maintaining personnel records, employee documentation, and HR handbooks. Generate reports, organizational charts, compensation analyses, and workforce planning documentation. Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to employment policies and procedures. Collaborate with HR and business leaders to support organizational development activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of Human Resources experience. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView required. Experience supporting payroll, compensation, HR operations, or employee relations activities. Strong understanding of employment regulations and HR processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Workday HCM. Experience supporting compensation analysis or job classification activities. Knowledge of employee benefits administration. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. GRPB Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
