Job Description

Staffing Coordinator Birch Healthcare Center Birch Healthcare Center is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This multifaceted role is responsible for staff scheduling, central supply management, and medical records coordination , helping ensure smooth daily operations and excellent resident care. Position Summary The Staffing Coordinator serves as a key member of our administrative team by maintaining staffing schedules, supporting departmental staffing needs, overseeing central supply inventory, and assisting with medical records organization and compliance. Responsibilities Create, maintain, and update employee schedules for nursing and ancillary departments Coordinate staffing coverage for call-offs, vacancies, and time-off requests Communicate scheduling changes effectively with employees and department managers Monitor attendance and assist with staffing reports Manage central supply inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution Ensure adequate stock levels of resident care supplies and equipment Maintain medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Assist with record audits, filing, scanning, and document retention Support compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations Provide administrative support to nursing leadership and other departments as needed Qualifications Previous staffing, scheduling, healthcare administrative, or long-term care experience Experience with scheduling software and electronic medical records Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and confidentiality Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Join a team dedicated to providing exceptional care while supporting the employees and residents who make Birch Healthcare Center a great place to work.
