Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavioral Health HR Specialist and play a vital role in fostering a supportive, compliant, and efficient workplace environment within behavioral health services. In this energized role, you will leverage your expertise in human resources management and talent development to enhance workforce capabilities and ensure regulatory compliance. Your proactive approach will help shape strategic initiatives that support employee well-being, performance, and growth across the organization. Responsibilities Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for behavioral health positions using platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn Etc Oversee performance management processes, including employee evaluations and ongoing feedback to support professional development. Administer benefits programs, including workers' compensation, PTO, and other employee benefits to promote workforce well-being. Develop and implement training & development initiatives aligned with organizational goals to enhance staff skills and compliance with employment law. Support change management projects by communicating updates effectively and facilitating smooth transitions within the HR department. Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining accurate data collection. Foster positive employee relations through conflict management, effective communication skills, and promoting a respectful workplace environment. Experience Proven experience in human resources management within healthcare or behavioral health settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, personnel administration, and HR sourcing strategies. Strong background in project management, organization design, workforce management, and strategic planning. Familiarity with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM; proficiency in Excel data analysis is advantageous. Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR legal compliance requirements. Experience handling payroll processing and benefits administration with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining confidentiality. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
