Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative HR Coordinator to provide comprehensive support across onboarding, compliance, and general HR operations. This role blends specialized onboarding coordination with essential HR administrative duties, ensuring that new hires experience a seamless introduction to our organization while day-to-day personnel processes are executed with high accuracy and efficiency. Serving as a key resource for the team, you will play a central role in maintaining complete records, managing employee change workflows, supporting HR compliance, and delivering a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Experience:
Coordinate the entire new hire onboarding lifecycle from offer acceptance through orientation; organize orientation schedules, equipment, credentials, and system access; conduct new hire orientations and serve as the primary point of contact for incoming team members.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain confidential employee records and personnel files in alignment with data protection regulations; track background checks, employment eligibility (I-9), LMS compliance training, and required certifications; support HR leadership with internal audits and compliance standardization.
HR Operations & Administration:
Perform day-to-day HR administrative support, including HRIS data entry and updating employee records; prepare and track Employee Change Requests (ECRs), change letters, and separation documentation.
Employee Support & Engagement:
Serve as an approachable point of contact for routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll coordination, benefits, and PTO balances; assist with event planning, meeting schedules, and semi-annual performance review cycles.
Qualifications:
1-4 years of hands-on experience in human resources, onboarding, or general HR administrative support. Solid foundational understanding of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices. Proficiency in HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Paycor, BambooHR, Paycom, or similar systems). Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset toward internal employees. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential HR information with complete discretion and professionalism. Experience in a multi-state or regulated industry environment, or prior background supporting HR compliance initiatives, is a plus.
