It is a culture of teamwork, respect and appreciation for all employees—whether caring for patients directly or working in a support role. We are seeking a Junior HR Generalist to support our team. Key Responsibilities HR Operations Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation. Process employee lifecycle changes including new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and separations. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS. Prepare employment verification letters and other HR documentation. Maintain personnel files in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Employee Engagement & Company Initiatives Coordinate employee recognition programs, milestone celebrations, and years-of-service awards. Assist in planning and executing employee appreciation events, wellness initiatives, and company activities. Support employee communication efforts, including HR announcements, newsletters, and internal campaigns. Partner with leadership on initiatives that promote employee engagement and organizational culture. HRIS & Reporting Maintain employee data within the HRIS and audit records for accuracy. Generate HR reports, workforce metrics, and dashboards to support leadership decisions. Support HR system updates, testing, and process improvements. Assist with HR audits and compliance reporting. Benefits & Leave Administration Support employee benefits enrollment, qualifying life event changes, and annual open enrollment. Assist employees with benefit-related questions and coordinate with benefit vendors. Administer leave of absence processes, including
FMLA, NJFLA, ADA
accommodations, and Workers' Compensation documentation. Track leave activity and ensure timely communication with employees and managers. Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Maintain I-9 documentation and employment eligibility records. Coordinate annual compliance training and required certifications. Assist with policy implementation and HR process documentation. Recruitment & Onboarding Support Support recruitment activities as needed, including interview coordination, background checks, and pre-employment requirements. Coordinate onboarding logistics with hiring managers and internal departments. Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed prior to employee start dates.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range:
$60,000-$65,000 annually the starting rate within this range for this role varies depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
