A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations. This position will work closely with the HR Manager and serve as a primary resource for employees and supervisors. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and comfortable supporting employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new-hire orientation
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Assist employees with benefits, policies, payroll, and general HR questions
Support employee relations matters and workplace investigations
Provide guidance to supervisors regarding policies and employee concerns
Coordinate performance reviews and corrective-action documentation
Manage leave requests, attendance matters, and workers' compensation paperwork
Assist with benefits enrollment and employee communications
Track required training and maintain compliance records
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Prepare HR reports and assist with audits and special projects
Provide additional support to the HR Manager as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Approximately 2 or more years of HR Generalist or comparable HR experience
Experience supporting employees in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
Working knowledge of employment laws and standard HR practices
Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and HR administration
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust at all levels
Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
