Veterans/Disability The HR Grneralist functions as a Human Resources team member working with a variety of HR-related processes and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR DUTIES
Owns the operational execution of payroll, benefits, compensation administration, HRIS, and HR reporting. Acts as the Bank's subject-matter expert for total rewards and HR systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administer payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with wage and hour laws. Administer employee benefit programs (medical, dental, life, disability, FSA, EAP, leave, workers' compensation, retirement plans). Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation requirements. Lead annual benefit renewals, plan evaluations, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations; make recommendations to management. Maintain and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS); produce management, regulatory, and ad‑hoc reports. Assists as needed with recruitment efforts and onboarding new employees. Conducts new employee benefit orientations. Monitor and reconcile HR-related general ledger accounts. Maintain benefit, compensation, pension, and affirmative action documentation. Participate in TSB Excellence Committee focusing on TSB corporate culture. Act as primary backup and escalation point for HR Administrator role where cross‑coverage is required. Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree in Human Resources or related field normally required; Bachelors preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP and/or CEBS professional designations preferred Three years employee benefit administration experience preferred Two years experience in the analysis of compensation programs preferred
Pay:
$24.67 - $29.15 per hour
