Learning & Development Manager Position Summary The UKG Systems Procedure Manual Intern will support Sidney Federal Credit Union's Learning & Development and Human Resources teams by learning the organization's UKG system (SFCU Ready) and developing a comprehensive, SFCU-specific procedure manual for UKG administrators. This unpaid internship is designed as a structured learning experience with the potential to qualify for college credit, depending on the requirements of the selected applicant's academic program. The internship will provide practical exposure to human resources information systems, business process documentation, training support, and organizational knowledge management. Primary Responsibilities
Learn the core functionality, administrative workflows, and user roles within SFCU's UKG system.
Meet with the Learning & Development Manager and designated subject matter experts to understand current UKG processes, common administrator tasks, and documentation needs.
Document step-by-step procedures for UKG administrator activities in a clear, accurate, and user-friendly format.
Develop an organized procedure manual that reflects SFCU-specific terminology, workflows, policies, and approval processes.
Capture screenshots, process notes, decision points, and troubleshooting tips where appropriate and approved.
Identify inconsistencies, knowledge gaps, or opportunities to improve clarity in existing UKG-related processes.
Draft, revise, and finalize documentation based on feedback from the Learning & Development Manager and other stakeholders.
Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, benefits, and organizational information encountered during the internship.
Provide periodic progress updates and present the completed manual or project summary at the conclusion of the internship. Learning Objectives
