Position Summary The Bilingual HR Generalist serves as a key resource for employees and leaders, supporting all aspects of the employee experience in a manufacturing environment. This role partners with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, support talent acquisition and development, and provide day-to-day HR support to a diverse workforce. This position reports to the CEO and maintains a strong collaborative relationship with the company's external HR consultant, who provides strategic HR guidance, support, and partnership across key people initiatives. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. Key Areas of Responsibility Employee Relations & Team Member Support Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and supervisors by providing guidance on company policies, workplace concerns, performance issues, attendance, and employee relations matters. Support investigations, coaching discussions, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and employee communication while promoting a respectful, engaged, and productive work environment. Talent Acquisition & Employee Lifecycle Management Manage and support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee development, performance management, and offboarding. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, facilitate an effective onboarding experience, and support workforce planning initiatives. HR Operations, Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Support HR processes related to documentation, policy administration, leave management, workers' compensation, accommodations, audits, reporting, and confidentiality requirements. Benefits & HR Systems Administration Administer and support employee benefits, payroll-related processes, timekeeping systems, and HRIS data management. Assist employees with benefit enrollment, leave questions, and system navigation while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee information. Maximize the use of HR systems and technology by developing, streamlining, and automating HR processes that enhance efficiency, improve data accuracy, and create a user-friendly experience for employees and managers. Employee Engagement, Training & Culture Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, communication efforts, training coordination, and development activities. Partner with leadership to support performance management processes, workforce development, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and HR administration.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, Paylocity preferred.
PHR, SHRM-CP, or related HR certification.
Successful completion of background check.
