Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and administering key human resources functions, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll management, performance management, compliance, training and HR policy maintenance and implementation. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Employee Relations Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and employment matters Investigate employee concerns and assist with conflict resolution Partner with supervisors and managers to address performance and behavioral issues Support disciplinary actions and documentation processes Recruitment & Staffing Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities Post job openings and screen applicants Conduct interviews and facilitate candidate selection Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and onboarding Onboarding & Offboarding Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs Ensure completion of employment documentation and compliance requirements Benefits Administration Assist employees with benefit enrollment and eligibility questions Support annual open enrollment activities Coordinate with benefit vendors and insurance carriers Maintain accurate benefit records Compliance & HR Administration Management and processing payroll Maintain company policies and handbook Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and Texas employment regulations Manage disability claims Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records Prepare reports related to workforce metrics and compliance requirements Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 3+ years of Human Resources experience Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Knowledge of OSHA standards, Workers' compensation procedures, FMLA regulations, and regulatory compliance management. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage conflict resolution and foster positive employee relations across diverse teams. Organizational skills for data entry, data collection, administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate HR records. Preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification Experience in oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments Bilingual English/Spanish Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Occasional travel to field locations or remote offices Join us as a Human Resources Generalist where your energy fuels our growth! Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
