The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the People team at Powder Mountain. This position is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and people-centered administrative support across the team member lifecycle, including onboarding, HRIS support, team member records keeping, and seasonal workforce coordination. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-obsessed, and eager to grow their HR skillset in a dynamic resort environment. The HR Coordinator helps ensure our People Operations run smoothly so our teams can focus on creating exceptional experiences for our team members and guests with Powder's purpose to connect people to the mountain, the moment, and each other.

Manager, HR Operations Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Administration Support daily HR operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and a positive team member experience Assist in maintaining team member personnel files and records in accordance with legal and company requirements Conduct employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other routine HR documentation Administration of the askhr inbox, respond to or delegate team member inquiries related to policies, procedures, and basic HR topics, escalating when appropriate Onboarding & Team Member Lifecycle Support Responsible for initiating and administering new hire onboarding, including offer documentation, background checks, I-9 processing, system setup, uniforms and season pass benefit Ensure timely and accurate entry of team member data into HRIS (Paycom), including new hires, job changes, and terminations Support offboarding processes, including exit documentation and system updates HRIS Support Maintain HRIS data integrity and support system updates, reporting, and basic troubleshooting Compile and prepare organized data reports to Business Partners based on business need Compliance Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies Assist with seasonal hiring efforts and workforce transitions, including high-volume onboarding and offboarding periods Projects & Continuous Improvement Support People Operations team projects such as audits, process improvements, training coordination, and team member engagement initiatives Partner cross-functionally with managers and leaders to support people-related initiatives Other duties as assigned Requirements and/or
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in an HR, People Operations, Finance/Accounting or administrative role (preferred) Working knowledge of HR processes, employment practices, and confidentiality standards Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Paycom strongly preferred) Proficiency in Google Workspace (excel/sheets) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills 1-3 years of hospitality/customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills

Working Environment:
Work will primarily be performed indoors and may require some travel outside, subject to environmental conditions during the winter season.
