Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-focused HR Specialist to support our clients with payroll, employee changes, and day-to-day human resources administration needs. This position serves as a primary point of contact for employers using our Human Capital Management (HCM) system and provides support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits, timekeeping, recruiting, and performance reviews. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with clients, managing multiple priorities, solving problems, and helping employers and employees confidently use HR technology. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employers in a variety of industries regarding HR and HCM system questions. Process accurate and timely payroll for multiple clients. Assist with and monitor new-hire onboarding activities. Order and track background checks and drug screenings. Maintain client information within the HCM system, including: Process employee changes and updates. Support timekeeping, timesheets, and time-off administration. Provide system support for onboarding, benefits, applicant tracking, recruiting, and performance reviews. Assist employees with account access and login issues. Maintain required workplace notices and company policies. Train employers and employees on effective use of the HCM system. Create, maintain, and update HCM user guides, training videos, dashboards, and other support resources. Assist with HR-related audits, required documentation, and client-specific projects. Maintain accurate records while handling confidential employee and client information. Complete other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in human resources, payroll, benefits administration, HR technology, or a related field preferred. Experience working with an HRIS or HCM system. UKG Ready experience is a plus. Knowledge of payroll processes and general HR practices. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and competing priorities. Comfortable learning new technology and training others. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. What Success Looks Like in This Role A successful HR Specialist is responsive, organized, accurate, and comfortable taking ownership of client needs. They build strong client relationships, identify solutions, follow tasks through completion, and make HR and payroll processes easier for the employers and employees we serve.
