Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist for thier manufacturing facility near Kaukauna WI. The Sr. HR Generalist will support the culture & core values of the organization and drive engagement & overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication. They will have responsibility to execute HR processes, policies and programs. This role also assists in making recommendations on courses of action and changes in policies, investigations, and confidential issues. This company has a fantastic people centric culture. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules. Maintains employee and business confidentiality; protects privacy of internal customers as required by federal and state regulations. Maintains knowledge of and learns legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting is in compliance with said rules and regulations. Assists with updating policies and practices as needed with regulation changes. Responsible for acquisition responsibilities; job posting; sorting applicants; interviewing; job offer; and new hire orientation. Provide support for Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit Programs Responsible for accurate and compliant I-9 completion including annual purge process and periodic auditing, updating when applicable. Stays current with rules and regulations pertaining to the I-9 process. Manages leaves of absence (disability, FMLA) requests and return to work issues with employees, managers, and third-party administrators. Assists employees with issues encountered with third-party administrator. Manages payroll process for the facility. Responds to unemployment claims. Updates departmental SOP's when changes take place. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Participates in audits by customers as needed to provide HR support. Prepares requested documentation and facilitates employee interviews as needed to fill hourly vacancies. Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development 3+ years related HR experience in a manufacturing organization
SHRM/HRCI
certifications a plus Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information Exceptional time management and organization skills #JDP
