Bilingual HR Generalist

Job Description

Redwall LLC is seeking an experienced, high-energy Bilingual HR Generalist to lead our day-to-day human resources functions. You will serve as a strategic partner and the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, overseeing everything from employee relations and performance management to recruitment and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has deep experience managing the full employee lifecycle, handles sensitive situations with objectivity, and thrives in a dynamic manufacturing/printing environment.
Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Engagement Conflict Resolution:
Lead complex investigations, manage grievances, and facilitate fair conflict resolutions.
Escalation Point:
Act as the direct escalation contact for HR inquiries handled by the HR Coordinator.
Culture & Engagement:
Plan and execute employee engagement programs, monthly appreciation events, and the Employee of the Month program.
Performance Management & Coaching Manager & Employee Coaching:
Provide daily guidance to managers on performance, discipline, and standard HR practices (Manager 101).
Performance Improvement:
Facilitate the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process and support annual performance reviews.
Compensation:
Manage and process compensation adjustment inputs.
Onboarding, Recruiting & Offboarding Talent Acquisition:
Create and manage job descriptions, oversee open requisitions, conduct interviews, and manage temporary staffing agency relationships.
HRIS Management:
Generate offer letters, conduct onboarding, and process data using Paycom.
Offboarding:
Lead involuntary terminations, conduct employee exit communications, draft separation letters, process terminations in Paycom, and manage unemployment claims.
Safety, Injury, & Incident Reporting Claims Management:
File Workers' Compensation claims through the insurance portal.
Compliance & Investigation:
Complete incident documentation, conduct root-cause investigations, and maintain OSHA reporting logs.
Training & Facilitation Program Delivery:
Facilitate New Hire Orientation, annual compliance training, and anti-harassment courses.
Leadership Development:
Train supervisors on conflict mediation and fundamental management skills.
Bilingual Mastery:
Must be fully bilingual (written and verbal) in English and Spanish.
Experience:
3-5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in light industrial, printing, or manufacturing environments.
Systems:
Hands-on experience using Paycom for recruiting, onboarding, and workforce management is highly preferred.
Compliance Knowledge:
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal labor laws, including OSHA and Workers' Compensation.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional emotional intelligence, objective problem-solving skills, and a proactive communication style.
