The role works closely with leaders and employees across the site to help maintain a productive workplace, address workforce needs, and ensure HR processes are handled accurately and professionally.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly and salaried roles, including coordinating contract staffing support and partnering with department leaders to define position needs.
  • Lead pre-employment and onboarding processes such as onboarding, background screening, reference checks, and required post-offer testing.
  • Respond to employee and supervisor questions regarding workplace policies, procedures, benefits, and labor agreement topics, escalating sensitive or complex matters when needed.
  • Conduct initial fact-finding for employee relations concerns, including workplace complaints and conduct issues, and document findings for further HR review when appropriate.
  • Maintain HR records and administrative documentation, including job postings, organizational updates, change notices, seniority information, and required compliance reporting.
  • Support leave administration by partnering with external resources, addressing employee questions, and helping ensure compliance with federal and Wisconsin leave requirements.
  • Oversee workers' compensation follow-up and coordinate safety-related employee testing, screenings, training, incident documentation, and related reporting obligations.
  • Assist with benefits administration by answering employee questions and supporting enrollment activities for new team members and annual open enrollment periods.
  • Monitor attendance records and assist with follow-up actions related to attendance concerns in alignment with company policy and workplace standards.
  • Update and maintain HRIS data in systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, prepare reports as needed, and contribute to site communication efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
