Job Title :
Human Resources Generalist Position Function:
The Human Resources Generalist supports the full scope of HR responsibilities, including employee records management, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and compliance. This role also plays a key part in promoting employee engagement and ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals, policies, and applicable laws.
HR Generalist Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and managing background screenings.
  • Facilitate hiring processes for hourly and salaried employees, including scheduling assessments when required.
  • Communicate company policies, benefits, and HR procedures to employees and candidates.
  • Administer employee benefits, workers' compensation, FMLA, STD, and other leave programs, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Track, monitor, and manage employee leave balances and related documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.
  • Partner with managers and employees to address HR-related questions and provide guidance.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, employee surveys, and communication efforts to foster a positive work culture.
  • Utilize HR systems (e.
g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, ADP) to track and analyze employee data.
HR Generalist Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • Solid knowledge of HR principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with leave management and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ADP preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and confidentiality.
