Talent Acquisition (Human Resources) Summary of Position The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting for assigned business areas, from workforce planning and sourcing through selection, pre-employment, system entry, and completion of onboarding requirements. The TAS partners closely with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and deliver qualified talent while maintaining a positive, best-in-class candidate and new hire experience. The role owns recruiting activity and KPI reporting for the assigned area and ensures new hires complete required employment documents and policy acknowledgements. Major Areas of Accountability
Create and manage job requisitions in the My Flint Recruiting Module and ensure accurate, timely candidate and requisition data.
Conduct intake and workforce planning meetings with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles.
Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing and staffing strategies that address immediate, mid-range, and long-term talent needs.
Create and publish job advertisements across appropriate job boards, social media, professional networks, community partners, and other sourcing channels.
Proactively source active and passive candidates using traditional and creative sourcing techniques and build talent pipelines for current and future openings.
Review applications, screen resumes, conduct recruiter interviews/phone screens, assess candidate qualifications, and present qualified shortlists to hiring managers.
Coordinate the interview and selection process, maintain timely communication with candidates and hiring managers, and ensure appropriate candidate dispositioning in the system.
Prepare and facilitate the offer process, including offer approvals, verbal and written offers, acceptance tracking, and required follow-up.
Own and coordinate all pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and other required screenings or documentation, escalating issues as appropriate.
Enter and/or ensure accurate entry of new hire information into required HR/recruiting systems and verify all required data is complete prior to start date.
Manage onboarding completion for new hires, including required new hire documents, employment forms, policy acknowledgements, and other assigned onboarding requirements.
Follow up with candidates, new hires, and hiring managers on outstanding pre-employment or onboarding items to ensure deadlines and start dates are met.
Maintain a positive, professional, and best-in-class candidate and new hire experience throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.
Own recruiting KPI tracking and reporting for the assigned area, including metrics such as time-to-fill, time-to-hire, applicant volume, source of hire, offer acceptance, aging requisitions, and other established measures.
Analyze recruiting data and trends, identify risks or opportunities, and provide regular staffing updates and actionable insights to Talent Acquisition and business leaders.
Maintain accurate talent pipelines and candidate records for future hiring needs while ensuring compliance with company processes and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Build effective partnerships with hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders and serve as a trusted advisor on recruiting practices, market conditions, and staffing solutions. Position Requirements
Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, Recruitment Specialist, or similar full-cycle recruiting role; high-volume recruiting experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing the recruiting process from sourcing and screening through offer, pre-employment, and onboarding.
Ability to consult with hiring managers, translate business needs into recruiting strategies, and manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
Strong sourcing skills across job boards, social media, professional networks, community resources, referrals, and passive candidate channels.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR/recruiting systems; ability to maintain accurate and timely system data.
Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting recruiting KPIs and using data to identify trends and support staffing decisions.
Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and ownership of deadlines and deliverables.
Excellent interpersonal, interviewing, written, and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused and collaborative approach.
Ability to handle confidential information and apply consistent recruiting and onboarding processes.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
