Job Description
Position Summary TCR Logistics is seeking a motivated and organized Recruiter to help attract, screen, and hire qualified FedEx Delivery Drivers and other transportation professionals. The ideal candidate is self-driven, comfortable speaking with people throughout the day, and capable of managing multiple hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates, conducting phone screenings, coordinating orientations, maintaining accurate hiring records, and ensuring every candidate receives excellent communication throughout the hiring process. Essential Responsibilities Review applications from Indeed and other recruiting platforms daily. Contact applicants promptly by phone, text, and email. Conduct initial phone interviews and determine candidate qualifications. Schedule interviews, orientations, road tests, drug screenings, and DOT physicals. Explain job duties, pay, benefits, company expectations, and hiring requirements. Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the hiring process. Track candidate progress from application through onboarding. Follow up with pending applicants to complete required paperwork. Maintain accurate recruiting reports and hiring metrics. Work closely with HR and Operations Managers regarding staffing needs. Assist with onboarding documentation and new hire paperwork. Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information. Help improve recruiting strategies and recommend new hiring initiatives. Qualifications Previous recruiting, HR, customer service, or sales experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Comfortable making a high volume of outbound phone calls daily. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience with Indeed, applicant tracking systems, or HR software is preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
